She's so much fun at this stage with how alert she is and how active she always wants to be. It is getting harder to keep up with her because she never wants to sit still unless it's bedtime and then she gives you the sweetest little cuddles. She must get those ants in her pants from daddy. He can't sit still either.
At 8 months Sophia...
- Loves to eat! She will take pretty much anything you give her and even if she doesn't like it and makes the funniest faces like it's the worst most sour thing she's ever had she swallows it down! She started eating little pieces of 'grown up' food and likes avocados, cheese, sweet potato, squash, and chicken. She also loves her apple puffs and water. She reaches for our glasses when we fill up a cup and opens her mouth to take a sip.
- Can drink from her sippy cup really well and loves to bang the cup down on her tray when she's done
- Is making lots of new sounds and I think has a name for me "na-na" I keep saying Ma-ma and I swear she'll look at me and scream out "na-na" over and over when she's trying to get my attention.
- Loves playing in her play room and gets overwhelmed with excitement when she's surrounded by all her toys. She doesn't know which one to pick up first!
- Crawls really well
- Takes 2-3 naps a day and loves when we let her take a morning nap in our bed. She zonks out and it's the only time she'll sleep on her back.
- Has started sleeping with a sleep sack since it's gotten colder.
- Got sooo off schedule after Uncle Ryan's wedding and was waking up 2 times a night until this week (fingers crossed). She's back to her old good sleeping routine. Thank God!
- Has two top teeth coming in.
- Has started propping herself up and STANDING! Watch out! Looks like we're going to have an early walker!

Crazy how fast time flies!!! This is one of my favorite ages though...so much fun!
